Glass Processors

Thorlabs' Vytran^® GPX Series Glass Processors are ideal for shaping large-diameter fibers to fabricate tapers, ball lenses, couplers, combiners, and other advanced terminations. Glass processors using filament fusion furnaces are available with or without a built-in cleaver. Our CO₂ Laser Glass Processor features a laser and filament heating mode that enables glass shaping for fibers with claddings up to 5 mm.
